You have two options: 1) you can go through the available resolutions and find one you like. Or 2) go out and buy a better video card that supports the resolutions you do want.
If you already have the current drivers, then there is no way to go higher than what is available. It means your card doesn't support it. If it doesn't support it, then there is no way... You might not need to buy a new graphics card. PC Display on my widescreen LCD was stretched as the graphics card (intel 910L) didn't support the native resolution of 1330 x 720. I used %26quot;powerstrip%26quot; which worked a treat:
