Can someone tell me how to change the resolution on my computer? I need to increase the pixels to 600-800?

I just signed up with peoplepc.com and when I downloaded the software, a screen popped up telling me I needed to increase the pixel count to 600-800. I went under Settings to where I thought I could move the cursor over to increase the pixels but it would not let me drag the cursor over. I contacted peoplepc and they told me I needed to install a video driver to correct the resolution problem, but I don't have the disk. They told me I could download one (video driver) from the Internet. Can anyone tell me how I can do this? I can get on the Internet, but the page is too big and I have to scroll over to the left and right to read the screen. Also, the pictures are unclear because of the pixel count. You most likely have an Nvidea or Radeon video card.



Find out doing this

1. Right click on your windows background.

2. Click %26quot;Properties%26quot;

3. Click the %26quot;settings%26quot; tab at the top

4. Click Advanced.

5. Click the adapter setting



Here it will tell you what type of adapter (i.e. video card) you have.



Next go to the website for that adapter.

For instance if it's Intel go to www.intel.com,

if it's radeon, go to www.radeon.com,

if it's Nvidia, go to www.nvidia.com



Alsmost any company is www.companyname.com

Once at their sight look for %26quot;downloads%26quot; or something like that. You should be able to find it.



Once you've found it, download it and install. Restart you computer, than try to increase your resolution.

you must open your computer (i think is a desktop pc, not a notebook) and look for the video card, if it is out the mother board, look where is your monitor attached outside, and look inside if is in the main electronic board or on a electronic card plugged in the main board. in this case, remove this card and read the surface of the bigger chip on it, then you must look at that brand web page and the driver for the numeric model on it.



Else, you must look for the part of the mother board and look for the video drivers for it at www.motherboard.cz



if a notebook, just look to the manufacturer web page and search that model drivers.
